The Costa Interactive Display
The Perfect Pair of Costas at the Touch of a Display Case
Behind Lock and Key
How do you sell a $200 pair of sunglasses locked in a display case when there’s no one knowledgeable around to assist customers? In all likelihood, you don’t. Having a well-informed sales person on hand, however, can make all the difference in the world. But in retail, that’s no easy task.
A Virtual Sales Associate That Lives in a Display Case.
We found another way: we put an octopus named Frank in charge. He’s well versed in all things Costa Sunglasses and is always ready to assist nearby customers. As they approach the display case filled with Costas, a motion sensor calls him to duty and he appears on the front display case glass. From there, he leads an interactive touchscreen journey that explores lens options and their designed uses, product features and sunglass styles. Customers make choices along the way, ultimately revealing the perfect pair for them.
