Every brand touchpoint is an opportunity to bolster customer relationships. How those touchpoints are crafted ultimately determines whether they fortify or erode that relationship. When the work of shaping those interactions is guided by customers’ natural behavior, mindful of what they expect and need at that very moment, and enabled by the latest technology, it often results in more innovative experiences that transcend function into interactions that are desirable and memorable.

With each project I’ve led — from pushing the limits of voice AI to improve drive-thru service to embracing VR to connect with aspiring musicians in the Metaverse — my unwavering commitment has always been to design innovative products that foster genuine and considerate human connections rooted in trust and mutual respect.

Tapping Into Natural Leadership Instincts

Assuming my first leadership position marked a pivotal shift in how I perceived my purpose as an experience designer. That transition was a natural evolution in my career, showing me that supporting and guiding others toward success can be more fulfilling than personal achievements. My approach to leadership mirrors my creative approach: leading with empathy and fairness, and enabling others to do their best work. Over the years, I’ve grown as a leader by:

  • Spearheading a traditional agency's digital transformation by building out a comprehensive digital practice from the ground up including hiring, mentoring, and developing 10+ digital-focused employees and shaping go-to-market offerings, such as experience strategy and design, web and app development, and digital marketing transformation.

  • Leading large, cross-functional teams located across the globe for project engagements ranging anywhere from 6-18 months for Fortune 500 brands.

  • Pioneering explorations into innovative and emerging technologies such as conversational AI, Virtual Reality, and Augmented Reality.
